How to Play
Guess the daily squirrel in 6 tries.
Type a squirrel species into the search bar and pick it from the dropdown (or press Enter).
After each guess, the tiles change color to show how close you were on five traits: Size, Habitat, Lifestyle (how it lives, e.g. Tree Squirrel or Chipmunk), Genus (scientific family group), and Region (general part of the world).
Green means that trait matches. Gray means it doesn't.
Any trait you've confirmed, from a guess or a hint, narrows the search suggestions to squirrels that still fit.
Stuck? Optional hints show up starting on your 4th guess. Each one reveals a trait's value or the squirrel's first letter and narrows your suggestions, but it won't color in a tile for you.
A new squirrel plays daily, and the roster won't repeat until every squirrel has had a turn.
